Dr. Erik Modlo is a dedicated physician specializing in Functional Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. With a diverse background in internal medicine, hospitalist care, and cardiothoracic medicine, Dr. Modlo has built a career focused on patientcentered care, education, and innovative treatment approaches. He holds an MD from Northeastern Ohio Medical University and an MBA in Healthcare Leadership for the Jack Welch Management Institute. He is also certified via the Seeds Scientific Research and Performance Institute in Peptide Therapy.
Prior to his medical career in civilian healthcare, Dr. Modlo served in the United States Navy as a physician in the Navy. During the time it instilled a deep sense of leadership, adaptability, and dedication to service—qualities that continue to shape his approach to medicine today.
Beyond his professional work, Dr. Modlo takes great pride in his role as a husband and father to two amazing daughters, finding inspiration in his family and balancing his commitment to medicine with the joys of family life.
