Andrew J. Sulich, MD, is a Board Certified Rheumatologist in private practice at Shores Rheumatology, St. Clair Shores, Michigan for over 30 years. After earning his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Saint Maarten . Dr Sulich continued his training and completed his internship at Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit. He completed his residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. His rheumatology fellowship was completed at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit Michigan.
He is Chief of Rheumatology at Ascension Saint John Medical Center in Detroit and Assistant Clinical Professor at the William Beaumont Oakland University School of Medicine. He instructs fellows, residents and medical students in the art and science of rheumatology.
Dr Sulich specializes in Osteoporosis, Autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. He is an active researcher who has served as the principal investigator for multiple clinical trials. Additional research projects have focused on giant cell arteritis and osteoporosis.
Dr Sulich is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and is a member of organizations such as the American College of Physicians, Michigan State Medical Society, Arthritis Foundation and a board member on the American Behcets Foundation.
Dr Sulich has been honored with multiple awards, including Hour magazine “Top Docs” for 2010 to 2021. He has shared his experience and research at state, national, and international meetings.
